CORPORATE INFORMATION
Vigar Carnes was born in 1985 with the firm purpose of satisfying the need to provide the highest quality meat to the consumer market. The organization’s commitment responds to a standardized approach to innovation to comply with and update the cutting-edge trends demanded by the market, to submit to the most demanding certification standards, guaranteeing food safety and security. Under this rigor of demand, it has been possible to meet consumer expectations with distinctive elements of the products such as better softness, juiciness and flavor.
In terms of service innovation, Vigar Carnes is recognized in Mexico as the first establishment to offer the end consumer products for retail sale of high vacuum cuts, followed by the concept of only receiving meat in boxes at the branches to facilitate the control of inventory and response time to consumption. On the other hand, the introduction of the free meat roast service at the points of sale, also achieving to be pioneers in the Marinated Arrachera product category, as well as in the presentation of cuts in “Prime” and “Choice” qualities in butchers.
The business dynamism of Vigar Carnes has developed differentiated strategies in meat products, offering a wide range of cuts and programs certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Always in search of continuous innovation and quality assurance, we have worked with value-added products in portioned cuts, marinated and breeds of winning with great acceptance in the market.
As a hallmark of commitment to excellence and quality, Akaushi beef was introduced. Products that provide natural proteins of the best quality, due to their natural meat, and the characteristics of Akaushi-type cattle, it offers healthy ones such as Omega 3 and 6, with outstanding levels and monounsaturated fats.
Without stopping in the efforts that intertwine quality and trust, Vigar Carnes seeks excellence by ensuring the traceability and safety of food for consumers, for which processes are implemented that are certified by independent bodies that allow unification with world standards. These processes are endorsed by certificates such as TIF granted by SAGARPA, HACCP by TUV SUD, México Calidad Suprema by OCETIF and Safety Food Quality (SFQ) by NSF; strengthening the company through different distribution channels such as foodservice, retail and trade in strategic locations throughout the country.
